The Academy Awards are over. The King's Speech was the biggest winner of the night, which is cool since it's a damn good movie but I'm still kinda bummed David Fincher didn't nab Best Director for The Social Network though. Black Swan may have been my favorite movie from last year but I knew there was no way in hell the academy would let that freak show film win all the accolades it truly deserved. Either way, it's all good. I thoroughly enjoyed 8/10 of the Best Picture nominees and can easily say last year was a sweet year for film buffs everywhere.
Besides, Patrick Bateman and Matilda both won Oscars.

DAT....busted
Fellas....how many times a week, nay, per day, do you catch yourself checking out girls?
Ladies....how often do you catch dudes gawking at you?
Two Kiwi broads on Youtube have created an ingenious way to capture men admiring Rich Boy's favorite part of the human anatomy, the ass cam!
lol @ the angry lady during the :47 second mark. She either:
a) discovered the tiny camera and thought, WTF?
b) marveled at that girl's backside and silently raged with jealousy.
*UPDATE* 2/28/11
The original video has been removed from Youtube (probably for embarrassing a crap load of dudes) but thanks to Natalia, a new link has been found! Thanks for the help miss.

Grind Time: Soul Khan Vs ZM
Judging by the comments from my original Grind Time post, you bloggers seemed to get a kick out of this stuff, so as promised...here's more!
This battle is PURE LULZ. Both emcees are pretty wicked, but Soul Khan is seriously on another level. If you can appreciate top tier fat & Jew jokes, this ones for you.
After they decided the winner, the judges requested a bonus OT round you can view here. Not as great as the main round though but still cool. What do some of you new followers think of this? Whats your favorite zinger from the battle? Do you agree with the judges decision? etc. etc.

Vile Nostalgia: Nelly
You know you're getting old when you nostalgia for crap you barely even liked (or flat out hated) before only because it reminds of the past. This isn't like my previous Winnie The Pooh post, which I regard as Awesome Nostalgia, no this is something far more sinister. Ladies and Gents, respected bloggers and all you trolls out there, it's with great sorrow that I introduce this new segment to Jim's Fear(s) bloggy blog: Vile Nostalgia.
Never thought I'd long for the days when Mr. Band-aid face ruled the cultural Zeitgeist. The comments section for this youtube video are sad/pathetic yet awesomely accurate. Ol' Nelly, with his baggy attire, sports jerseys and bling is Sooooooooooo late 90's/early Millennium man. Nowadays, all the famous rap dudes sport skinny jeans, sci-fi themed robot gear and have even less talent thanks to the wonders of auto-tune.
This song will now haunt you for the rest of the day, this I'm certain of....
and LOL at Kelly Rowland from Destiny's Child and her vintage cell phone/text. VILE NOSTALGIA ONCE AGAIN!

Movie Review: The King's Speech
![]() |
| aka The Duke's Speech for 3/4 of the movie.... |
The film centers around Britain's Prince Albert, Duke of York, played masterfully by Colin Firth, who secretly struggles to overcome a debilitating speech impediment while his family and country titer on the brink of collapse prior to the start of the Second World War. Albert's wife, portrayed by Helena Bonham Carter, enlists the aid of an unconventional speech therapist, Geoffrey Rush's character Lionel, to help her husband with his "stammer."

So yeah, if you're interested in a historical dramas, period films, or awesome acting you cannot go wrong with The King's Speech. Also, props to Guy Pierce for being such an awesome little asshole in this flick. Now go see it.
