Vile Nostalgia: Nelly

You know you're getting old when you nostalgia for crap you barely even liked (or flat out hated) before only because it reminds of the past. This isn't like my previous Winnie The Pooh post, which I regard as Awesome Nostalgia, no this is something far more sinister. Ladies and Gents, respected bloggers and all you trolls out there, it's with great sorrow that I introduce this new segment to Jim's Fear(s) bloggy blog: Vile Nostalgia.

help me Obi-wan, you're my only hope...
Never thought I'd long for the days when Mr. Band-aid face ruled the cultural Zeitgeist. The comments section for this youtube video are sad/pathetic yet awesomely accurate. Ol' Nelly, with his baggy attire, sports jerseys and bling is Sooooooooooo late 90's/early Millennium man. Nowadays, all the famous rap dudes sport skinny jeans, sci-fi themed robot gear and have even less talent thanks to the wonders of auto-tune.

This song will now haunt you for the rest of the day, this I'm certain of....

and LOL at Kelly Rowland from Destiny's Child and her vintage cell phone/text. VILE NOSTALGIA ONCE AGAIN!
