MOAR PANTHER...

looks like my Steel Panther post from Tues was a hit. Pretty much unanimous praise from the comments section and a Mr. Kevin (whose blogger account I can't access) was cool enough to post my write up on Steel Panther's fan site, bringmetalback.com. Since you bloggers seemed to enjoy them so much, here's another Panther related post to hold you over.

Although Steel Panther bring the lulz, make no mistake these dudes are wicked musicians. Take their guitarist Satchel for example. Satchel, real name Russ Parrish, once taught at Hollywood's Musicians Institute, played in Rob Halford's post-Judas Priest band, Fight, and also played the role of some obscure guitarist named Eddie Van Halen in The Atomic Punks, the worlds biggest Van Halen Tribute band. So aside from cracking wise ass jokes on stage and bringing hair metal back into the national zeitgeist....the dude can SHRED:

  1. soo sick. not as good as the original guitar god but pretty good. the drums were a nice touch too. i should add this to my music player. great post. all around awesome medley.
