I have scientific evidence proving just how popular my Female Obsession series is here on this ol' blog of mine. All of my top posts ever, as well as a hefty amount of this site's traffic has been because of the lovely ladies I celebrate/worship/ogle. This post will get us up to speed with what some of my previous Female Obsession honorees are up to nowadays.


Kristen Bell: December 2010

The lovely Miss Bell now stars in House of Lies on Showtime. She also was the subject of an awesome viral video from an appearance on Ellen. This clip has something like 10 million+ views!


Kourtney Kardashian: August 2011

Kourtney is pregnant once again with child#2 from her Patrick Bateman wannabe boyfriend =/ Still looks good though!

Kelly Brook: January 2011

 Earlier this year Kelly launched her a new line of lingerie that she designed herself. Best part is, she also decided to model them as well =p

Lucy Liu: October 2011

Lucy joined the cast of TNT's acclaimed cop drama Southland. She's super fired up on this show and looks damn good in that uniform also.


Vanessa Hudgens: April 2011

Vanessa starred in 2012's Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. I didn't see this flick (naturally) but she looked cute as hell in the trailer. Hudge is also filming a new movie with the mighty Selena Gomez that I shall be blogging about VERY soon...

Maria Menounos: January 2011 (yeah I did two installments that month....sue me)

Maria's been quite the busy bee these past few months. She made headlines when she stripped down to her bikini on her TV show Extra after losing a Super Bowl bet. Then she was rumored to have seduced Mr. Holy Roller himself, former Denver Bronco's quarterback Tim Tebow. Of course now Maria is on the latest season of Dancing With The Stars.

Yes, I even love her goofy laugh.

Top 5 Blog Posts of 2011

The books are now closed on 2011. Time to go back and see what was what in the year. I plan on doing my a  best of albums/movies/concerts post in the near future. But first,  I present my Top 5 Blog Posts of 2011:

Oh Kelly Brook. On top of the heap, with that massive poofed up hair...like the Lion Queen of sexiness! As you can tell, the love of ladies here at Jim's Fear knows no bounds. Black, White, Asian, Armenian, it's all good. We (meaning I) do not discriminate here when it comes to Female Obsession.

Of course I'm partial to ALL my Female Obsession ladies. If I wasn't, I would never have blogged about them in the first place. I really wish my Maria Menounos installment got more love though =/ ohhh wells. I still love you Maria.

Sad News- Kelly Brook

British model/actress/goddess roaming the planet Earth, Kelly Brook has suffered a miscarriage.

You might recall from previous posts that Kelly Brook rules my universe and I wasn't too thrilled when I found out she was pregnant. Truth is, I was just bummed that her transformation into motherhood might deprive us (re: ME) of more awesome performances such as:


Of course I never expected anything like this to happen. I wish her and that lucky dude who isn't me that she's with right now, all the best during this sad time.

First Egypt goes to hell. Then Libya. Then Wisconsin. Japan is all but annihilated off the face of the Earth. Nate Dogg dies and now this breaking, tragic news:

Kelly Brook is pregnant.

Some of you might recall that Kelly was the subject of my late Jan/early Feb edition of Female Obsession. She was also the face of my first blogger milestone, my 100th Post Celebration. And now, with a simple tweet...shes gone. =/

So there you have it folks, the dream is dead. Here's to Kelly's memory.

Happy New Year!

Yes, the replacement for my 2010 The Big Lebowski calendar has finally arrived. You're looking at January 2011 my friends, the first of many awesome months in my new Kelly Brook 2011 calendar.

Who is Kelly Brook? Why is she hanging on my door? From what I can gather, Kelly was a model and TV personality in Britain before trying her hand at acting. Unfortunately the most prestigious roles she's landed was a brief stint on the that Superman teen show Smallville and some softcore, destined for Cinemax flick with her ex-Billy Zane called Survival Island. Luckily, the fates have smiled upon us and gave Kelly her biggest break yet in last summer's uber raunch/gore fest, Piranha 3D. This might sound lame but I actually enjoyed her performance in that movie. I'm not just talking about her nude underwater swim scene either. Something about Kelly exudes charisma. This trait shines through in both her sexy photo shoots and more candid/natural shots. Her smile just knocks me on my ass every time. I didn't think it was possible for Brits to have a grill like that (haha). Her voice/accent is even more adorable. Case in point, the first few minutes of this interview. Her laugh is infectious! Too bad the interviewer is dull as paste....


Kelly is also a spokeswoman for Reebok EasyTone shoes. I don't know how smart this was on the part of Reebok. Having Kelly on a billboard like that is bound to cause car accidents and create negative publicity.

For those of you who haven't seen Piranha 3D yet, I implore you to do so ASAP. It's campy and violent as hell, like Death Proof & Hostel on steroids, with more blood, guts and awesomely gratuitous nudity than should be allowed. Of course the best part, is Miss Kelly Brook. Happy 2011 everyone!

Whats that Kelly Brook? I have 100+ followers?!

Sometime early this afternoon my blog gained it's 100th follower. Thanks for all the support people. I shall continue ranting and raving about my shitty taste in music/film/life with renewed gusto. A have a concert review from last week I plan on posting soon as well my first (of probably many) political/social commentary blogs. Here's to more annoying posts and another 100 followers!
